It has been part of God’s plan from the beginning.

Why the Lamb Matters

Understanding the Lamb of God helps us see the Bible as one unified story. The sacrifices, the prophecies, and the promises all point toward the same reality: God has made a way for sinners to be reconciled to Him.

Throughout the Old Testament, God taught His people about sin, holiness, and atonement through the sacrificial system. These sacrifices were never meant to be the final solution. Instead, they prepared the way for the perfect sacrifice that would come in Jesus.

Because the Old Testament and the New Testament are so woven together through the thread of sacrifices, we have a little side-quest study in Leviticus. We are digging into the types of sacrifices throughout Leviticus and why they were required.
